Edgar Cayce

Edgar Cayce (March 18, 1877 – January 3, 1945)was considered as a sleeping prophet form he was able to go into a deep sleep and share answer to people who he never met on different subjects. He was able to diagnose and give answers that was connect to them such as problems with health and how to heal it, to astrology and reincarnation for which he had a difficulty in accepting because he believe strongly in the bible.

Cayce's method of clairvoyance involved lying down and entering into a trance or sleep like state, where his heart beat and all other function were slowed down and most of the energy was used in the upper part of the head. He has been accompanied by his wife, similar to the way the spirit guides does, such advice flows through Francis Hosein while he is in a deep trance.

When a subject ask for help even if they were present or not and whether it was on health or personal problems he was there to help.

The subject's questions would then be read out to this famous psychic, and Cayce would proceed with telling them what they needed to hear to solve their problem which was and still today call a "reading".

In the early part of Cayce's career, all readings were given on health issues.

Cayce was able to give readings about a person’s past life and how it affects them now in this lifetime from an emotional or health wise.

Edgar Cayce was not always familiar with the clients he did a reading for.His psychic powers were astounding with his accuracy to predict event that was to come.

He did not attend any medical school yet his ability to understand, and diagnose problems even when they did not manifest in the physical body and was able to prevent some problems for his clients.

The life readings he give was very clear and detail involving a description of past lives and karmic influences that played a big part in the client’s life.

The Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE), headquartered in Virginia Beach, is the major organization promoting interest in Cayce's life work as a medium.
