Financial Independence

I am a 50 year old married female, with two grown children, two dogs and a cat.

I have been unhappily married for 29 years, being financially and emotionally controlled by my spouse, having jobs just to feed the family and therefore always putting myself on the back burner. After much soul searching, I am now done with my marriage, but have absolutely no idea what to do, to get myself out of the situation and start a new life for myself. I have lost myself along the way somehow and do not even know, what my passions are career wise. I also have no means, resources or money available to leave this situation.

These difficulties are weighing heavily on me and despite trying to always be hopeful for some divine intervention and constantly being on the lookout for opportunities, I feel, that something or someone keeps blocking any form of positive abundance to reach me. I just really need a "break" from the universe, since I feel my energy is getting depleted more and more every day.

I have tried looking for jobs, but always keep attracting low paying office jobs. I have tried keeping my heart wide open for abundance to come to me. I have even attended a workshop on how to attract financial abundance, diligently using the tools provided, but still it seems to evade me. I have even made peace with the fact, that this might be karma from a previous lifetime, or that I have created this situation. I have tried letting go and surrendering my problems to a higher power, which does ease the heaviness of my situation sometimes. I have also taken a lot of time to meditate and reflect on my problem, but am unable to find answers.


I am willing to try anything to change my situation, except to give up my children and pets. All I need is some honest insight and guidance - even if it hurts. I am willing to put my ego aside and let my soul speak to me.

I am looking for a brand new beginning in life. I want to be financially independent, following a career that I love with a passion, surround myself with like minded people, have a healthy social life and in general just be content living a simple, yet peaceful life.
