Helena Blavatsky

Helena Petrovna Hahn (also Hélène) (July 31, 1831 - May 8, 1891 London), was also known as Helena Blavatsky or Madame Blavatsky, she was born with the name Helena Von Hahn.

While Helena was living in New York City, she founded the Theosophical Society in September 1875, with a friend name Henry Steel Olcott, William Quan Judge and others.

Blavatsky Claimed

Madame Blavatsky felt that all religion that she knew were both true in their teachings and felt that they were false or not good enough in their external way of showing it.

She felt that, imperfect men attempted to translate the divine knowledge had corrupted it in the translation by their own interpretation of how it was and not necessarily by divine guidance.

She claimed that esoteric spiritual knowledge is consistent with new science may be considered to be the first instance of what is now called New Age thinking.
