My Love Life At Last

I am 43 years old. I am a single woman and have never
been married. Also, I have one child; My daughter is 18
years old.

It's been a long time since I've had a relationship - There
have only been three men in my life previously. None of
these relationships lasted very long. The longest is usually 1
year due to different circumstances with each one. I feel so
lonely, and with my daughter grown... I really feel this is the
time for me to start my life. There is a guy here at work who I believe likes me; His name is J and I would like for him to
ask me out, but he is just not coming forward. I am very
unsure as to whether or not I'm wasting my time. He is
younger than me but I know for a fact that he likes older
women.

I get depressed a lot and dislike all the waiting because I am
so unsure with J. I am wondering if I need to look elsewhere

forward and ask me out, and will we start a relationship
together?
