Who is looking over my son?

I am a 28-year-old female. My son is only three and I am
wondering if someone is looking over him during this very
testing time. His father has some behavioral problems and
vices and he also acknowledges it, but he feels he does not need to
change. He says that this is just who he is. I need guidance
in the hope that I can provide the best life for my little boy.

Our family life has changed and I do not want my son to
suffer. I feel that he may be negatively affected by his
father’s behavior, as his father acts like a child.

I have a major test in November when I will have to go to
court again. I fear what the outcome of this will be on my
son. I want success for myself so that I can be strong for my
son and give him the upbringing he needs. I worry that in the
future, his father will again become a negative influence.

I have tried to make positive changes in myself to give my
son the life he deserves. I have acknowledged my own vices
and dealt with them. I am striving to be the most I can be in
the hope that I reach a higher purpose in life for both my son
and I.

I am willing to do whatever is necessary. I would move
heaven and earth for my son. I would like to know if there is
a guiding star that is helping us, and who can give me
suggestions on how to improve.

The ideal outcome for my son would be for him to get a good
education, and for me to provide him with the best
opportunities along with a happy childhood.
