Saving Me To Help The World

I am a man 32 years of age. I have been separated from my wife whom I've wanted to divorce and finally I have been separated from her for 6 years now. I live with my girlfriend/fiancée K. and our daughter K. K. and I are of the Wicca/Druidic spirituality.

I keep having dreams that I accomplish phenomenal feats of good on a global scale. I have a desire to do things or something that promotes advancement of humankind to becoming more peaceful. My desire is to create more understanding and acceptance and yet a more intelligent species.

I am dirt poor and I battle severe depression. I want to get into a career but I don't know what would be best for me to do. My finances and credit is so poor that even if I knew what course of study or vocation to pursue I don't know how to even get started or where to go to get the help I need.

Something in me wants to be a hero on a worldwide scale but first I've got to save myself. I feel like my soul is being crushed under these emotional weights. I pretend to be ok but in acting this way I feel I am a phoney. I am frightened for my future and I am frightened for my 2 years old future. I think the level of my failure is so much I can't believe this is my life.

When I experience the reoccurring theme in my dreams of being a hero a philanthropist and a multi denominational minister I am greatly ashamed of myself. I don’t know what to do or how to start changing my world to get what I want.
